The WU Ball 2024 in the Metternichsaal shows that WU careers can lead not only to the business stage but also to the music stage. With Sandro Humitsch and Clemens Reinsperger, two WU graduates, both also former ÖH team members, will be in the spotlight with their bands.

Benjamin Gedeon applied for the SAT 1 singing show "The Voice Kids" at a young age. In 2022, he not only got to the blind auditions, but even made it to the final. "The Voice" coach Álvaro Soler then took him to the big stage. Benjamin performs with Álvaro at several concerts on his European tour and appears at the famous "Golser Volksfest" and on the TV show "Starnacht am Neusiedlersee". With his band "The Thumbs" and the single "Fall into Your Arms" BENJAMIN GEDEON & THE THUMBS celebrate their premiere at the WU Ball - with former ÖH-WU chairman Sandro Humitsch on guitar! We are looking forward to this special musical highlight!
After 80 successful concerts in 2023 - with many thousands of enthusiastic visitors in Austria, Germany and South Tyrol - 2024 will by no means start any more reservedly: with 100% handmade music, strong original compositions and sophisticated covers from the genres Austropop, Schlager, Disco & Rock, DIE WILDEN KAISER will also present their musical potpourri at the WU BALL 2024. With danceable beats and rousing entertainment, the band with WU alumni Clemens Reinsperger will provide a special highlight in the time-honored Hofburg, especially late at night!
