The WU Ball 2024 offers a colourful music programme: from classical dance music, fast swing rhythms and real rock 'n' roll to the latest dance hits and the greatest hits of all time. But there's no shortage of proper music either.

I. FESTSAAL
Musical entertainment from 22 pm to 05 am
The Ziehrer-Hofballorchester performs alternately with the BROADWAY Big Band.
The ZIEHRER-HOFBALLORCHESTER is one of the most famous dance orchestras in Vienna and is a guarantee for the musical accompaniment of a traditional Viennese ball night in keeping with the tradition. Special emphasis is placed on the appropriate interpretation of Viennese dance music. The repertoire includes dance numbers for young and old: classical Viennese waltzes, polkas, quadrilles, tangos and evergreens. With its refreshing musical style, the Ziehrer Hofballorchester is a guarantee for every successful ball night. Enjoy this orchestra, which continues the tradition of the k.&k. Hofbälle in an impressive quality.
The Broadway Big Band is committed to the traditional big band sound of the "Golden Aera of Swing". At the WU Ball, the band, led by "Playing Captain" Gerhard Aflenzer, will present a varied program on the stage in the Festsaal, including both standard dances and Latin American rhythms. The Broadway Big Band also places great emphasis on current hits, in big band style of course.
The around 50 choir singers of wu chor vienna represent a variety of fields of study, professions and professions, are between 20 and 40-plus years old and were born in the different parts of the world. They share a love of music, a passion for singing and the joy of inspiring audiences with their concerts. We are delighted that the wu chor vienna will be performing at the WU Ball 2024.
II. ZEREMONIENSAAL

Moodsart features some of the best musicians in this country playing an extremely broad repertoire, which is unique in this quality! But above all, this band is characterized by the incredible joy of playing and having fun together on stage, and no audience can ignore this. We are happy to welcome MOODSART again at the WU Ball and look forward to a high class, modern dance & party program!
III. RITTERSAAL

At this year's WU Ball, maybe the smallest big band in the world will take the stage in the Rittersaal, where they promise to impress everyone. In words: vocal - instrumental - phenomenal! Every title is a catchy tune that will animate you to dance and musically get your guests moving. Everything else is beyond words - therefore: convince yourself, listen and enjoy!
IV. FORUM - STUDENTENBEISL - DISCO
We are looking forward to 2:tages:bart at the WU Ball 2024! As the sons of two restaurateurs, the show talent has been in their legs since childhood. Their love for music and their open and likeable nature led them to the stages of the country. The closeness to the audience and the spontaneous and creative interludes of the two always bring the parties to a boil. Whether an improvised joke or a dance interlude, every show of the two is different and guarantees variety and fun.
V. VINYL LOUNGE (Hofburg Lounge)

DJ Deusl & DJ Scout
DJ Deusl and DJ Scout have been ensuring full dance floors since the early 90s - especially at student parties in Vienna and the surrounding area. At this year's WU Ball, they will present themselves according to the motto "Vinyl only": the best dance tracks of the last decades will be served from their finely sorted record collection. Check out this musical treat for yourself in the newly designed Hofburg Lounge.
VI. METTERNICHSAAL
Musical entertainment from 22 pm to 04 am
The WU Ball 2024 in the Metternichsaal shows that WU careers can lead not only to the business stage but also to the music stage. With Sandro Humitsch and Clemens Reinsperger, two WU graduates, both also former ÖH team members, will be in the spotlight with their bands:
Benjamin Gedeon applied for the SAT 1 singing show "The Voice Kids" at a young age. In 2022, he not only got to the blind auditions, but even made it to the final. "The Voice" coach Álvaro Soler then took him to the big stage. Benjamin performs with Álvaro at several concerts on his European tour and appears at the famous "Golser Volksfest" and on the TV show "Starnacht am Neusiedlersee". With his band "The Thumbs" and the single "Fall into Your Arms" BENJAMIN GEDEON & THE THUMBS celebrate their premiere at the WU Ball - with former ÖH-WU chairman Sandro Humitsch on guitar! We are looking forward to this special musical highlight!
After 80 successful concerts in 2023 - with many thousands of enthusiastic visitors in Austria, Germany and South Tyrol - 2024 will by no means start any more reservedly: with 100% handmade music, strong original compositions and sophisticated covers from the genres Austropop, Schlager, Disco & Rock, DIE WILDEN KAISER will also present their musical potpourri at the WU BALL 2024. With danceable beats and rousing entertainment, the band with WU alumni Clemens Reinsperger will provide a special highlight in the time-honored Hofburg, especially late at night!
VII. GARTENSAAL - "Heuriger"

TRIO WELTLIN'
For the Heurigen at the WU Ball, "true originals" of Viennese song and Heurigen culture have been engaged: Trio Weltlin - The musicians Fredi Gradinger, Hans Radon and Franz Horacek perform old, well-known, but also new Viennese songs, original compositions and evergreens in a swinging rhythm in incomparable quality and with unique "Viennese Schmäh". An authentic excursion into the Viennese vineyards!
